Nervous.
Irish fans know all too well what it’s like to lose to the mighty All Blacks in the final moments, having experienced heartbreak at the hands of Ryan Crotty at the Aviva back in 2013.
But last weekend was a different story, as the men in green finally defeated the world champions on home soil with a 16-9 victory in Dublin. A try from Jacob Stockdale proved to be the difference as Ireland cemented their status as genuine Rugby World Cup contenders.
The atmosphere in the stadium for the last few minutes was rapturous as the Fields of Athenry rang out while New Zealand had one last crack at levelling the game, before Brodie Retallick knocked on to seal a famous win.
But one Irish dad wasn’t as relaxed as a lot of fans in the stadium, almost having a heart attack in this brilliant video. His reaction when the final whistle is blown shows just how much Saturday’s ‘friendly’ win meant to Irish fans.
This Irish dad reacting to the final minutes of Ireland vs New Zealand is one of the best things we've ever seen. 😂😂
