Fair play.
Wallaby Kurtley Beale is being praised by the rugby world following a brilliant story from Midi Olympique that shows his class. Clubs across the world are struggling financially as a result of the ongoing crisis with staff and players feeling the knock-on effect.
Beale signed for Racing over the summer and recently made his debut for the French giants with rugby returning in recent weeks. The 31-year-old is the latest big-name signing for the Parisian side and is no doubt taking home a very decent wage.
But according to Midi, Beale spoke to the club upon arriving and asked for his salary to be cut in line with the decreases his teammates had to accept.
Absolutely top class from the former Waratahs man. A true team player.
