In talks.
Former Ulster and Ireland outhalf has admitted he’s spoken to other clubs about a possible move should Perpignan fail to avoid relegation from the Top 14 this season.
Jackson joined Perpignan over the summer after having his contract at Ulster revoked by the IRFU following his rape trial in Belfast. But the French side are yet to win a game this season, and look destined to drop back down into the PRO D2.
The 26-year-old had admitted he has spoken to a “few” clubs (Lyon and London Irish are believed to be among them) and revealed he does indeed have release clause should Perpignan go down.
“There have been a few clubs which have spoken to me. That is really the stage it is at, at the minute,” said Jackson,
“If they go down yes, but that is just a decision I am going to have to make between myself and the coaches here,” added Jackson, when asked if he had a release clause.”
“It is something I am just looking at the moment. But the main focus is trying to play well and get our win.”
