National hero.
Ireland are just a few short days away from the biggest game of their professional careers so far, with a Grand Slam there for the taking against England on Saturday at Twickenham.
Joe Schmidt’s men are already Six Nations champions, but as we saw last year, celebrations will be pretty deflated if they don’t manage to attain the ultimate goal. Only two players in the current squad have previously won a Grand Slam (Rory Best, Rob Kearney), so these lads will be raring to go.
Ahead of the huge fixture Ireland have been training and prepping in Carton House, as per usual. And they had a special visitor drop by play few tunes for them last night, none other than legendary Irish musician Christy Moore.
No better man to instil a bit of pride and nationalism into you before you get ready to represent Ireland with the whole country watching.
