This Comment From An England Fan Following Ireland’s Win Pretty Much Sums Up Rugby

Greatest sport in the world.

Unless  you’ve been living under a rock since yesterday afternoon, you’re probably aware that Ireland are officially 2018 Six Nations champions with a round to spare.

Their win over Scotland, coupled with England’s shock defeat to France in Paris, means Eddie Jones’ men cannot catch Ireland when they meet on the final day in Twickenham.

England are also set to lose their spot as the number two ranked team in the world when the rankings are released tomorrow, with Ireland set to leapfrog them after yesterday’s results.

All things considered, you’d forgive an English fans for being a little down, perhaps even a little bitter. But not this fan. James Hancock, one of our followers on Facebook, commented beneath a photo revealing Ireland as Six Nations champions.

What he said pretty much sums up rugby and it’s values. Absolutely top class. We salute you sir.
