Back in action.
Former Racing 92 playmaker Johan Goosen is set to make his rugby comeback with the Cheetahs this weekend, almost two years after “retiring” from the game.
The South African officially came out of “retirement” earlier this year, with a multi-million euro deal lined up with cash-rich French giants Montpellier.
But that deal has now seemingly fallen through, with the Cheetahs confirming he will now be available for the remainder of their season in the PRO14.
He’s now set to line out at outhalf against Munster this weekend, as second and third place in Conference A battle it out ahead of the play-off stages of the competition.
New South Africa boss and former Munster director of rugby Rassie Erasmus is also expected to be in attendance this weekend.
