Difference.
Springboks lock RG Snyman has gotten off to an excellent start at new club Leinster, playing a pivotal role for the province in their perfect record in the URC this season.
Snyman has struggled with several injury issues over the last few years but seems to have overcome them and looks in excellent shape.
His move from rivals Munster was always going to be a controversial one, given the fact that Munster invested so heavily in him, backing him with a second contract despite all his injuries and they made that known when Leinster and Munster clashed in Croke Park a fortnight ago.
But what differences has Snyman noticed at Leinster compared to his old club Munster?
“It’s kind of a difficult question to answer,” Snyman told Off The Ball.
“But I think the biggest difference is probably just the amount of young players here that, you know, I look at guys like Sam [Prendergast] and the things they can do with the ball in training and stuff, it’s crazy.
“And you just look at these guys and probably think they’re gonna play big rugby one day, and the guys ahead of them, or not really that they’re ahead, but I mean the older guys here are playing so well as well. You know what I mean?
“They have such a big pool of talent here that it’s actually unbelievable.”
