Wanted man.
Leinster’s current situation at fly-half is a complicated one and it may mean that one of their four current options may have to look elsewhere in order to get some game time.
Ciaran Frawley appears to have overtaken Ross Byrne in the pecking order following his exploits in South Africa over the summer, and his performances in the URC so far this season.
Sam Prendergast has been away on the emerging Ireland tour but is likely to be thrust back in as deputy at the very least, with Harry Byrne also still at the club, fighting for that coveted 10 jersey.
Now, Ross has been linked with a move to France, with Midi Olympique reporting that Montpellier is interested in his signature. The report adds that Byrne is interested in the switch.
Is it time for Byrne to move on from Leinster?
