Comeback.
Former Scotland and Exeter Chiefs fullback Stuart Hogg is reportedly in “advanced” talks about a return to professional rugby.
The 31-year-old made the surprise decision to walk away from rugby at the end of last season and has been dealing with several personal issues since with his estranged wife.
He recently attended rehab in a bid to get himself back on track and had been spotted at Newcastle Falcons about a return to the Gallagher Premiership.
But now, Midi Olympique are reporting that he is in talks with Top 14 side Montpellier about an immediate move to the French side.
Montpellier are currently second from bottom in the Top 14 with the threat of relegation looming and are looking to bring Hogg in as a medical joker to replace Anthony Bouthier, who ruptured his cruciate ligament last month.
