No pressure lad.
Ulster travel to Exeter this weekend knowing anything less than a win will end their chances of qualifying for the Champions Cup knockout stages. To make matter’s worse, they must do it without their star man Ruan Pienaar.
The experienced Springbok will miss the remaining two pool matches as a result of minor surgery, leaving Less Kiss short of options at nine. As a result, Dave Shanahan will make his first start for Ulster tomorrow.
Having played 10 times for the northern province as a substitute, the 23-year-old Dubliner is named at halfback alongside Paddy Jackson. The inclusion of Shanahan is one of three changes mades my Less Kiss.
The other two changes see Charles Piutau return and Pete Browne come in to the second-row.
