This does not look good.
Ireland are making light work of Italy at the Aviva Stadium this afternoon, leading 42-0. But it’s coming at a huge cost with two key players picking up injuries.
Tadhg Furlong lasted just three minutes before coming off with what appears to be a hamstring injury. Now early in the second-half Robbie Henshaw has been forced off with what appears to be a really serious injury.
The outside centre bagged two tries today, but landed rather awkwardly when scoring the second. He may have popped his shoulder, or damaged his elbow, we’re not quite sure. But it was bad enough for Henshaw to be given what appears to be morphine to numb the pain.
Lets hope he’s ok. Really worrying scenes.
