Will Greenwood has savaged England’s inability to deal with Italy’s no ruck tactic by posting an image on Twitter explaining how the breakdown works.
England struggled to understand what was going on in the first-half, even asking referee Roman Poite what they were and weren’t allowed to do, only for the Frenchman to tell them he’s ‘a referee, not a coach.’
Jones has since thrown all his toys out of his pram, calling for the rules to be changed instead of admitting it was a clever tactic by Italy, that England should have been able to deal with better.
