Connacht will take on Northampton this weekend at Franklin’s Gardens with a spot in the final of the Champions Cup play-offs on the line.
Pat Lam’s side have endured a difficult season after last year’s heroics, unable to finish high enough in the PRO12 to secure a spot in next season’s Champions Cup. This weekend however they have a chance to move one step closer to securing the final spot in next season’s competition.
While the game may be on in Northampton’s ground, the good news is it’s been confirmed that TG4 will be broadcasting the game live. Stade Francais take on Cardiff in the other semi-final, with the winners of both meeting in the final on May 26th.
TG4′s coverage of Saturday’s game will begin at 3.50pm before they switch over to Thomond Park for the Pro12 semi-final between Munster and Ospreys at 6.15pm. Can Connacht give Pat Lam the perfect send-off? Step one begins this weekend.
