This is really worrying.
George North has a long history of head related injuries and he’s picked up yet another one tonight as Northampton take on Leicester in the Aviva Premiership at Welford Road.
The Wales and Lions winger competed in the air to win the ball with Adam Thompstone, resulting in a nasty collision as the Leicester player ending up underneath North, crashing him to the ground.
North was instantly knocked out cold but amazingly returned to the pitch a few minutes later having passed a HIA. This not the first time the winger has been knocked out like this and remains a huge concern.
Thompstone received a yellow card for the challenge. Should he have seen red? More importantly, should North have been allowed to return?
