The greatest.
For many the late, great Jonah Lomu is the greatest professional rugby player of all-time. Although his career was cut short due to a kidney disorder that eventually took his life – the impact he had on the game in such a short time was incredible.
No one had ever seen a man so powerful, yet so skilful and fast. He became the youngster ever All Black of all-time, and burst onto the scene at the 1995 World Cup – destroying everything that moved.
And now his incredible story has been transformed into a movie that will air on New Zealand television over two nights on August 18 and 19, 2019. For those on this side of the hemisphere who want to see it, we’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more about the release.
