There’s just no stopping Conor Murray right now.
Another win for Munster, another display of absolute class from Murray. The Irish nine has been nothing short of unstoppable this season for both club and country and today was no different as his side dismantled the Leicester Tigers.
Munster ran in four tries in an emphatic 38 points to nil win that sends them to the top of their group with maximum points achieved in their opening two rounds. Today’s win was their seventh straight in all competitions.
Murray was up against his closest rival for a Lions test jersey, Ben Youngs, and simply outclassed the Englishman from start to finish. Murray kicked beautifully and hit every pass with ease, controlling the game from all angles.
His highlight of the match however, came when he popped a beautiful inside pass to Simon Zebo for Munster’s opening score. It was nothing short of world class from Murray.
.@Munsterrugby magic! @ConorMurray_9 and @SimonZebo combine for superb try against @LeicesterTigers. #ChampionsCup https://t.co/q3zyVlyxTR
