He wasn’t wrong.
Ireland’s official airline, Aer Lingus, are back again this week with another excellent #HomeAdvantage video.
In order to ensure Ireland were bringing home advantage with them to take on the Azzuri in Rome, the airline decided to give Joe Schmidt’s men the biggest send-off ever. They gave fans an opportunity to tweet their best send-off for the team, with the winning post set to be blown up into Ireland’s biggest tweet for the entire rugby team to see as they jetted off to Rome.
The winning tweet came in from Barry Taylor, who wrote:
“Rome wasn’t built in a day. But it can be beaten in one afternoon.”
63-10. Looks like he was right.
