One from one.
The British and Irish Lions got their tour off to the perfect start this afternoon with a 28-10 victory over Japan at BT Murrayfield.
Josh Adams and Duhan van der Merwe got first-half debut tries before Ireland’s Robbie Henshaw got on the scoresheet too with the Lions’ third try.
Japan fought back in the second half and got 10 points on the board but a fourth try from Tadhg Beirne finished the game off before the Brave Blossoms could get on the scoreboard.
The Munster and Ireland star ran a beautiful line into space and bolted under the posts with the try of the game. A super start for the Lions who will now get set to fly out to South Africa.
