Goosebumps.
Munster and Racing 92 have just kicked off in round 2 of the European Champions Cup, in what is a very special fixture.
One year on from the death of their beloved head coach, Munster once again face Ronan O’Gara’s Racing 92. Before the game a special plaque was revealed in the Thomond Park dressing room in memory of Foley, while Munster are also wearing the Irish Heart logo on their jerseys.
The southern province weren’t done there however, as a rapturous minute’s of applause almost took the roof off of Thomond Park before the game. Spine-tingling stuff.
