This is a scary sight.
Sonny Bill Williams is back in pre-season, preparing for the 2017 Super Rugby season with his new club the Auckland Blues.and he’s absolutely tearing it up. In a video posted by performance coach Joseph Coyne, Williams is seriously being put through the paces.
The All Blacks centre hasn’t played since being stretchered off in the Olympics last year while playing for the New Zealand sevens team. The former league star partially ruptured his achilles tendon, ruling him out of The Rugby Championship and November series.
Judging by this video however, Sonny Bill definitely now looks ready to go for the start of the Super Rugby season next month. The talented centre looks in better shape than ever, and will no doubt be back better than ever.
Super Rugby defences beware, Sonny Bill is coming.
