Warren Gatland named his British & Irish Lions squad this afternoon but had no room for England captain Dylan Hartley.

Instead he went for his understudy, Saracens hooker Jamie George. The young hooker has been fantastic for his club this season, and for many should be England’s starting hooker.

That being said it was always going to be a 50/50 decision, with George and his teammates only finding out as his name was called out on television.
