Peter O’Mahony’s passport better be in date.
Munster captain Peter O’Mahony once again put his hand up for selection today with Warren Gatland set to name his Lions squad on Wednesday.
The Corkman was inspirational for Munster in their 22-2- win over Ulster at Thomond Park this afternoon.
His work-rate around pitch was never ending, while his presence in the lineout was once again menacing for the opposition. He even spent the last few minutes on the wing due to an injury to Rory Scannell, bringing back memories of Rome a few years back.
We also however got to see a side of O’Mahony that he wouldn’t be renowned for with this excellent dummy and break on former All Black Charles Piutau to set up Munster’s first try. His vision and awareness when to throw the pass was also a joy to watch.
