Leinster were undone this afternoon by Clermont, with a poor first-half display ultimately costing them a place in this year’s Champions Cup final at Edinburgh.
It was a classic game of two-halves, with the Irish province coming out all guns blazing in the second period, grabbing 12 unanswered points thanks to the boot of Johnny Sexton.
Sexton’s opposite number Camille Lopez however, proved to be the difference between the two sides with two stunning drop-goals.
The moment of the game however came when Garry Ringrose sliced through the French side’s defence to score arguably the try of the tournament.
