Ireland have gotten off to a pretty decent start at the London 7’s. The men’s sevens side are competing at the event for the first time in 14 years have a chance of qualifying for the quarter final stages.
The men in green started well against Australia with Jordon Conroy scoring an incredible solo-try, but ultimately went down 33-7 in the end. But the men in green fought back and got revenge on Spain for pipping them the the Olympics with an impressive 38-10 win.
Ireland were unable to defeat Wales in their final game but managed to reach the quarter final anyway thanks to other results. They face USA at 10.20am tomorrow live on Sky Sports and World Rugby’s social channels.
