Donnacha Ryan played his final game at Thomond Park this evening and has a chance of signing off in style after a 23-3 win over Ospreys in the semi-finals of the Guinness PRO12.
The legendary lock will move to Racing 92 next season to link up with former teammate Ronan O’Gara after the IRFU decided he was told old for a central contract.

The decision to let Ryan leave has baffled many fans. The second-row is playing some of the best rugby of his career and is a key member of both Munster and Ireland’s squad.
Ryan clearly didn’t want to leave but the IRFY forced his hand. Let’ hope his teammates can send him off with a gold medal in his back pocket.
