Ireland and England could have went a lot differently on Saturday if it were not for this quick thinking by Rory Best.
Rory Best was back his er, best on Saturday in Ireland’s win over England, putting in a rock solid performance, leading from the front.
It was his quick thinking before the end of the first-half with Ireland leading 10-3 however that impressed us and a lot of other people who spotted it.
Ireland were just outside their 22 and needing to claim a final lineout to see out the half. Ireland were awarded the lineout at 39:25 but Best was well aware of the game situation, the surroundings and the rules of the game.
Former England centre Will Greenwood was the first to spot it, with Neil Back approving of the Ulsterman’s clever play.

Sporstmag writer Charlie Morgan explains it perfectly below.

When throw comes in, clock is in the red. Throw not straight (hmm) so England get a scrum. But that means it's HT. Game management seminar. pic.twitter.com/gJNlYR4xLY
