CJ Stander has been on fire in Europe this year.
The South African born star has continued where he left off last season, causing absolute riot in Europe. Munster are now just one win away from a home quarter final, with Stander playing a huge role in the province’s success during this campaign.
Munster have today released a brilliant tribute video to highlight just how good he has been and it makes for some very impressive reading. Stander has played all five of the southern province’s pool games, racking up 82 carries.
Even more impressive is the fact that he’s managed to beat 13 defenders with those carries, and made 204 metres. Stander has also been a menace at the breakdown, turning over the ball four times. His defensive efforts have also been admirable, with the back-row forward making 36 tackles.
He’s also grabbed one try, a bulldozing effort against Racing in Paris. CJ Stander we salute you. What a talent.
