He doesn’t sound too keen if you ask us.
Bundee Aki will become eligible for Ireland in time for the November internationals at the end of the year.
The New Zealand centre recently signed a new three-year deal with playing international rugby for Ireland in mind- or so we thought.
Aki at the time of his contract signing revealed that he had been in regular contact with Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt, so everyone just presumed that meant he would be declaring for Ireland as soon as he became eligible.
The issue however is Aki keeps avoiding the question when asked and yet to give a definitive answer. In an interview with Sinead Kissane today Aki once again decided to keep us all guessing.
