He’s back.
Munster marched to another European victory in Thomond Park yesterday afternoon, putting 30 points past French side Castres in a comfortable win to top their pool.
Tries from Rory Scannell, CJ Stander and JJ Hanrahan proved to be enough as the southern province secured a 30-5 win. They will be disappointed to not have got the bonus-point, but can be proud of the result considering both Joey Carbery and Chris Farrell were forced to pull out shortly before the game.
The game also marked a European return for scrumhalf Conor Murray who played a key role in two of the three tries. His pass for CJ Stander’s try was the highlight of the match, with the Lions star offloading beautifully to send the number eight crashing over.
