What a bloody try.
Munster A came back from 18 points down tonight in Cork to win the British & Irish Cup with a 29-28 win over the Jersey Reds.
The southern province were second best for most of the first-half, but came out firing in the second to secure a famous win, and their first bit of silverware for the season.
Flanker Gavin Coombes and hooker Kevin O’Byrne helped Munster claw their way back into the game, before Garryowen winger Alex Wootton scored an unbelievable individual effort, putting Munster in front for the first time in the game.
English-born Wootton has already made his full debut for the province, having been signed from Northampton back in 2014. Congratulations Munster, hopefully the start of a very special weekend for the province.
