Do we finally have a decent rugby on the way?
It’s been a very long time since a we’ve had a rugby game worth playing. By a long time we mean you have to go way back as far as the masterpiece that was Rugby 08. That game was made by EA, and unfortunately proved to be the last rugby title made by the market leaders when it comes to sports games.
The most recent notable title to come out was Rugby 15 by Bigben Games, and it’s probably best we don’t go into to much detail about it. It was absolutely shocking, and was followed by an even worse Rugby World Cup 2015 game by the same lads a couple of months later.
Three or so years later, Bigben have decided to have another crack, and while we’re not expecting any miracles, might they finally have created something that’s at least worth playing? We’re not gonna get our hopes up, but to be fair, the gameplay for this one looks much better and it features an exciting looking career mode.
