So unfortunate.
Stuart Hogg came into this summer’s British & Irish Lions tour off the back of winning his second successive Six Nations Player of the Tournament award.
The Scotland and Glasgow fullback was in scintillating form throughout the season, and was in line to secure a Test XV jersey, before an unfortunate injury.
Hogg was chasing a kick he had launched into the air, when he accidentally caught an elbow off his teammate Conor Murray, fracturing his cheekbone in a horrific accident.
The injury meant the end of his Lions tour, something that was really difficult for him to take, as seen in this interview for the upcoming official Lions documentary.
