Wales boss Warren Gatland has named his Wales squad for next month’s Autumn series, with a number of high-profile players omitted. There are five uncapped players in the squad – Leon Brown, Elliot Dee, Sam Cross, Hadleigh Parkes, Owen Watkin.
After an excellent star to the season, Bath’s Rhys Priestland has earned a deserved recall, while interestingly Toulon-bound Rhys Webb has been included in the squad, despite the fact that he’s soon to be ineligible.
Some of the high profile omissions include; Jamie Roberts, Scott Williams, Luke Charteris and Sam Davies.
