Man down.
Fullback Leigh Halfpenny gave Wales an 11th hour scare last night after missing the final training run-out ahead of their Six Nations clash with England at Twickenham.
Halfpenny missed Friday’s captain’s run in Surrey due to feeling unwell.
It’s now been confirmed in the last few minutes that Halfpenny is indeed out of today’s crucial showdown.
The Lions star has suffered a foot infection, which has swollen badly. Gareth Anscombe now starts at fullback, with Owen Watkin coming on to the bench.
WalesOnline are reporting that Rhys Patchell will take over the kicking duties.
