Figures released from Germany and Japan reveal that rugby fever is spanning the globe thanks to the Rugby World Cup.
Brett Gosper, CEO of World Rugby has released some astonishing figures.

Considering Germany aren’t even in the Rugby World Cup, those figures are outstanding! And then there’s the small matter of Japan’s viewership…
Early estimate of Japan TV viewers for Japan v Scotland is 20 million..largest ever for a rugby match in Japan. This is not a typo. — Brett Gosper (@brettgosper) September 24, 2015
That is simply astounding. That’s more or less 15% of Japan’s population tuning in to watch a team who previously, hadn’t won a Rugby World Cup game in twenty-four years prior to that famous Springboks victory.
Rugby is just keeps on getting bigger and bigger LADS! Long may it continue!
