Ulster may have unearthed a new secret weapon judging by this Instagram video uploaded by scrumhalf John Cooney over in South Africa ahead of their clash with the Cheetahs this weekend.

Cooney posted a clip of fullback Will Addison attempting a placekick from a whopping 60m – and the former Sale Sharks man sinked it with absolute ease, straight down the middle.

Addison has been a revelation for Ulster since moving from the Premiership over the summer, and qualifies immediately for Ireland. Joe Schmidt called him up to train with the squad during their tour of Australia – and could very well cap him in November.

With kicks like this in his arsenal, could Addison be Ulster and Ireland’s answer to Elliot Daly?
