Not the best of starts to Leinster’s tour.
Leinster Rugby Head Coach Leo Cullen and club captain Isa Nacewa left their Leinster Rugby base in UCD yesterday afternoon together with the rest of the Leinster touring party for the first stage of their trip to South Africa.
The Irish province play the Southern Kings on Saturday in Port Elizabeth and the Toyota Cheetahs on Friday week in Bloemfontein in Rounds 3 and 4 of the Guinness PRO14.
The tour however, hasn’t gotten off to the best of starts, with captain Isa Nacewa and scrumhalf Jamison Gibson-Park currently stranded at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. We’re not quite sure what the issue is, but as soon as we know more we’ll be sure to update.
