What a coup.
This year sees Tv3 take over from longstanding broadcasters RTE for the Six Nations coverage in Ireland. It’s a decision that’s been met with a mixed reaction, with many feeling they did a poor job of covering the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
That coupled with the fact that RTE has been the home of Irish Rugby for as long as we can remember, has many people a little apprehensive about the take over.
Things however, are starting to look good, with TV3 revealing they hand landed Ronan O’Gara for their coverage, in what is a massive coup for the station. O’Gara became a fan favourite over the last couple of years for his punditry work on RTE, and is no doubt a step in the right direction.
