Ireland and Scotland are the winners after the weekend with World Rugby’s latest rankings.
Scotland pulled off a huge win over Argentina and have been rewarded with a spot in the highly coveted top eight, moving up to seventh in the table with France dropping out following their loss to Australia.
Ireland suffered a defeat to New Zealand but thanks to Italy’s shock win over South Africa, leap the Springboks into fourth position, moving up two spots now in total since the beginning of the Autumn series.
Rankings are particularly important this year with World Rugby set to confirm seeding for the 2018 Rugby World Cup in the coming months. All eyes turn to this weekend as everyone goes to battle once again.
