England are at it again.
It seems some England fans are already getting a little ahead of themselves with the Six Nations just a few weeks away. The 2016 Grand Slam champions are favourites once again this year but will no doubt face some stiff competition.
Joe Schmidt’s Ireland enjoyed a superb November series and head into the tournament as things stand with almost a full clean bill of health. England on the other hand have a number of injuries that are starting to pile up.
Eddie Jones will be without Manu Tuilagi, Mako & Billy Vunipoa, Chris Robshaw and Joe Marler as things stand, with their final game set to take place at the Aviva against Schmidt’s Ireland.
The Six Nations will also have a bonus-point system in place this year, which is sure to blow it wide open. A 2017 Grand Slam title is far from certain for the Red Rose but it seems there’s already merchanside on sale to commemorate it, before a ball has even been kicked.
Groupon currently have ‘England Grand Slam Champions 2017″ t-shirts on sale, with the popular bargain hunter website already selling nine of them. Anyone remember what happened the last time England did this?
