Owen Farrell remains a doubt for England’s Six Nations clash with Scotland tomorrow.
Farrell picked up what appeared to be a knee problem in training yesterday, with head coach Eddie Jones remaining coy in his fitness.
He could be in doubt, mate,” Jones said
“He’s got a bad leg, so he couldn’t finish training. I think he ran into my dog. I think he’ll be alright. He’s in doubt but we’ll see.”
The Saracens centre was unable to take part in England’s captain run this morning, adding further fuel to the rumours that he will indeed miss the game.
Farrell is expected to take a late fitness test before the game tomorrow, and will be given every opportunity to make the squad.
