This is no doubt going to change a lot over the next few weeks.
The Six Nations is almost upon us with an added incentive this year of British & Irish Lions spots up for grabs. The Six Nations is the perfect opportunity for players to get themselves in the shop window, with Gatland keeping a close eye.
Over the next few weeks you’re going to see lots of Lions XV’s from media outlets and pundits. Paul O’Connell was one of the first up last night with his selection that included a few surprises.
The Irish Times have had a crack themselves today, and it’s not a bad selection to be fair. We’d probably make a few changes ourselves, but overall it’s pretty solid.
How much this is going to change over the next few weeks remains to be seen. We all know what happened after the November series…
