The Full Ireland & England Legend Squads For This Friday’s Axel Memorial Game

This is going to be an absolute cracker.

The Ireland Legends will face the England Legends at the RDS Arena on St Patrick’s Day, with the game taking place this year in memory of the late Anthony Foley. This year will mark the ninth time the two Legends teams have met with 2017 promising to be the highest-profile clash ever with over 2,300 Test caps on display.

The Irish team will feature the likes of Gordon D’Arcy, Ronan O’Gara, Alan Quinlan, Jerry Flannery and David Wallace, while the England Legends side, boasts four World Cup medals with the likes of Mike Tindall, Mark Cueto, Ian Balshaw and Jason Leonard all set to feature.

Paul O’Connell, Stephen Ferris and Lawrence Dallaglio will act as waterboys on the day. It’s not just rugby legends that will take the field as it has been confirmed that all conversions will be taken by celebrities, from all walks of life.
