Holy shit.
Fiji are set to unleash one of the heaviest backline’s in world rugby at the Aviva tomorrow evening, as they get set to take on Joe Schmidt’s Ireland.
While it’s fair to say any backline that features the monstrous 137kg Montpellier winger Nemani Nadolo, the rest of the backline are by no means small.
Here’s what each players currently weighs.
9. Henry Seniloli – 75kg
10. Ben Volavola – 96kg
11. Nemani Nadolo – 137kg
12. Levani Botia – 103kg
13. Jale Vatubua – 112kg
14. Timoci Nagusa – 106kg
15. Kini Murimurivalu – 97kg
Their combined average weight is 104kg, but if you take out the half-backs, the average rises to a whopping 111kg. That’s 17st 7lbs a man on average for the outside backs from 11-15.
Wow. Should be a fun day at the office for Ireland’s young guns.
