Ireland have confirmed Robbie Henshaw and Conor Murray will play not part in the Autumn Series, ruling them out of this weekend’s Test with the All Blacks and the USA game next week.
Henshaw pulled up in the warm-up ahead of Saturday’s game with Argentina. Will Addison replaced him in the starting line-up for that game, but Garry Ringrose is expected to slot in at 13 on Saturday.
Murray meanwhile still hasn’t fully recovered from his neck problem and will continue on his road recovery.
“After the opening game of the 2018 Guinness Series at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday evening a couple of players will be managed in training today following a physical encounter against Argentina but all are expected to train fully on Tuesday and Thursday.” a statement read.“Robbie Henshaw’s hamstring issue will rule him out of the remainder of the Guinness Series.“Conor Murray is accelerating through his recovery but will not join the squad during the Guinness Series window. ”
