One more season.
Italy captain Sergio Parisse is set to continue playing after he was released from his contract with Stade Francais on Friday after almost 15 years with the Parisian club.
The powerful back-row has signed a one-year deal with three-time European champions Toulon ahead of next season. The 35-year-old will link up with his new club after the World Cup in Japan.
“Undisputed leader on the field and in the locker room, Sergio Parisse is determined to finish his career at the highest level,” Toulon said in a statement.
Toulon have fallen on hard times in recent seasons, but along with Parisse will welcome Nehe Milner-Skudder and Eben Etzebeth next season as they look to return to former glory.
