Ronan O’Gara could be set to raid his former club.
The Racing 92 coach has spoke to Donnacha Ryan about a possible move to the French champions according to the Irish Independent‘s David Kelly.
The 33 year-old lock is still very much a part of Joe Schmidt’s Ireland plans, but with the likes of Ultan Dillane and Iain Henderson pushing to take Ryan’s place- he may be allowed to leave.
Schmidt dropped Ryan for the Scotland game, in favour of the younger duo, claiming he was injured despite including him as the 24th man.
Munster would also be reluctant to leave Ryan go, but at his age may also permit the move. The towering lock has been an excellent service to Munster and it would no doubt not be held against him if he decided to cash-in as he enters the twilight of his career.
