Top class.
Leinster managed to put their Champions Cup final disappointment behind them on Saturday evening, defeating Glasgow Warriors to retain the PRO14 title at Celtic Park.
Tries from Garry Ringrose and Cian Healy, along with some excellent service from the boot of Johnny Sexton ensured an 18-15 win and a second season of silverware for the eastern province.
But it’s what happened after the game that has everybody talking. You might recognise the name Jennifer Malone, simply because she’s probably the biggest Irish Rugby fan in the country.
She’s at pretty much every training session at Carton House, and is usually found in the stands at games cheering on Ireland and Leinster. Last year Peter O’Mahony famously gave her his Six Nations medal – and this past weekend she got some more fantastic memorabilia to add to her collection.
Leinster centre Robbie Henshaw approached her after the game and gifted her his PRO14 final-winning boots. A top class gesture to one of the best fans in the country.
