Robbie Henshaw Proves Once Again How Good He Is At 13 With Incredible Stats

Thirteen.

Robbie Henshaw was once again shifted to outside centre against Montpellier this afternoon, as Leinster secured top seeding with an impressive 23-14 win in France.

The eastern province are unbeaten in this year’s competition, and are now clear favourites to win it, and with the kind of rugby they’re playing right now, you simply would’t bet against it.

Henshaw has played a lot of rugby at 13 for Leinster this season in Garry Ringrose’s absence, and was even named man of the match from the outside channel in the reverse fixture with Montpellier at the Aviva.

He bagged himself a try today, and made an incredible 17 tackles, more than any other Leinster player on the pitch. A phenomenal stat for an outside centre. He also made 15 metres, with one clean break and one defender beaten.

Bundee Aki was deployed at 12 during the November series for Ireland, with Henshaw outside him. This looks set to continue for the Six Nations. Ringrose’s injury could be a blessing in disguise for the former Connacht man.
