The referees and officials have been revealed for the 2016 RBS Six Nations.
Ireland will be officiated by some familiar faces in their opening game of the RBS Six Nations next year. Joe Schmidt’s men will travel to Murrayfield for their opening game against Scotland with Romain Poite of France set to take charge.
Jaco Peyper, who took charge of Ireland’s controversial tie with the All Blacks in Dublin, will be an assistant in that game. The good news for Ireland however is Peyper will not referee any of their games as the only game he will take charge of see’s Scotland take on France in Paris.
Fan favourite, Nigel Owens will take charge of their crucial clash with France in Dublin, while Irishman Johnny Lacey will take charge of Scotland and Wales’ encounter. Ireland and England’s potential Six Nations decider on the last weekend will be refereed by Jerome Garces of France.
